CES was involved in some of the very first utility-rebated VFD compressor installations in New England. Recently, our work was recognized by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) of New England in their 2008 Energy Awards. At Millipore, our compressed air improvement projects at their Bedford, MA and Jaffrey, NH plants resulted in annual savings of 694,492 KWH/year. That translates to $87,768 in annual electricity savings and a reduction of 1870 tons CO2 annually.
At Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, NH, our compressed air study and consequent optimization project resulted in an reduction of 503,000 kWh per year and an annual savings of $57,000. This project also had the effect of dropping carbon emissions by 718 tons per year.
